WHAT WE DELIVER "I consider myself a strong person and athletic even though out of shape. I was looking for a personal trainer without paying an additional monthly gym membership. What I found with The Red Pit and my personal trainer, Ty, is more than I could have ever hoped for. He and the other people I work out with 3 times per week are fantastic. Everyone is happy to be there and eager to get results. One of Ty’s mottos, “push it, because that is how you see results”, is something he says when we are tired and ready to give up. It certainly inspires me to push harder and feel the burn. I have tried working out at gyms, jogging, home video workouts, etc. but none of them “stuck” with me long term. I absolutely LOVE going to The Red Pit to train and have been doing so since April 2010. I am leaner, stronger, and loving it. The workouts are always different, always challenging, and always fun. After having two babies in 16 months, I was looking to lose my "baby weight" for good. I've trained at The Red Pit for 6 months, burned 30 pounds of fat and built 10lbs of muscle, and have never felt better! Before I started training with Ty, looking forward to working out would have been a joke, but the atmosphere is positive, encouraging and always leaves me wanting more! In 6 months, we've never repeated a training session once, which is important for me because it's easy to lose motivation when you do the same routine over and over. Ty has an extraordinary sense of each individual's limits with weights and exercises. Training is intense, yet attainable and that's how we get results! I love Celio's slogan "we don't work out... we train" because that is exactly what we do. As a pilates instructor and dance coach, I understand and praise Celio's emphasis on correct posture and form through each exercise in our training. He really takes the time to make sure that each exercise is done correctly! He is inspirational and is always challenging me to new levels of fitness. Exercise has a whole new meaning when I attend The Red Pit!

I have trained at The Red Pit for the past year. During that time I have increased my endurance, flexibility, and strength. Thanks to Celio's encouragement and personal investment in my progress I have been able to do things that I have not been able to achieve on my own in the past. I did my first push-up, ran in my first 1/2 marathon, and never would I have thought of being able to dead-lift over 220lbs. These milestones have all been accomplished thanks to the variety of training at The Red Pit.
